Where Health Stories Have Impact

Our Mission

Our mission is to amplify patient voices to drive meaningful action in healthcare.

Who We Are

Health Stories Project is a platform where people can share their healthcare experiences with companies that need to hear them.

Our Core Principles

Your story has power

We connect individuals with opportunities to share their experiences, influence healthcare, and support others. Authentic stories make a unique impact, and that starts with yours.

Representation matters

We welcome stories from all backgrounds. No matter your race, gender, age, or condition—your perspective helps paint a fuller picture of the human health experience.

Privacy is our priority

We never share your information without consent. Participation is always optional, and we follow strict privacy standards to protect your story and your data.

Ways You May Be Asked
to Share Your Story

Health Stories Project offers a range of ways to get involved—sometimes paid, sometimes volunteer. Based on your background and the needs of our partners, you may be invited to participate in activities such as those featured below. While we can’t guarantee every opportunity, your story helps make moments like this possible.

Share your story on camera.

Our production team will help record your story, focusing on your health journey. You can share what it was like to get diagnosed, how you’ve worked with your doctors, and what’s helped you feel better. It’s a powerful way to raise awareness and let others know they’re not alone.

“The whole crew honestly just feels like extended family now! It was truly something magical to be a part of. Everyone is just so humble and down to earth and passionate…I am so thrilled to see everything in motion when it’s finalized and released!”

Be a mentor to another patient.

Connect one-on-one with someone who’s going through something similar. Share what’s worked for you, offer support, and help them feel more confident navigating their care. Sometimes just hearing from someone who gets it can make a huge difference.

“It was invaluable and encouraging to speak to someone who understands my anxieties about the process and the treatment. The program made me feel like I am not alone.”

Join a patient advisory board.

Join a small group of patients who give feedback to healthcare companies or educators. You might help review materials, test out tools like health apps, or share ideas to make care feel more human. It’s your chance to represent people like you and make an impact.

“Thank you for inviting us to be part of such an amazing experience. We came away from it feeling like all of you really do care about the lives of people with Parkinson’s and really do want to help. That means so much. We were glad to help in return. It very empowering to be part of the work of this wonderful group of people, and we do hope to participate again!”

Speak at an event.

Share your experience publicly with an audience of doctors, and industry staff in a way that helps them understand what patients really need. We’ll help you prepare, whether you’re speaking in person or virtually—and you’ll inspire others with your story.

“It was a true honor to be able to participate in this work. It’s astounding to me that so many women’s health issues have been back-burnered for so long. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to join the greater team as we work together to raise awareness and education.”
